Do you have a passion for the cinema, literature, architecture, history or painting ? The choice of museums in Morges and the neighboring towns is impressive. It is up to you to satisfy your curiosity.

The four museums grouped under the roof of the Morges Castle – situated near the lake – is the town’s true cultural attraction : Vaud Military Museum, Swiss Museum of Historical Figures, Artillery Museum, Gendarmerie Museum.

Not far from there is located the historic building from the 16th century that houses the Alexis Forel Museum. Depending on the chosen annual program, visitors can admire a collection of original and eloquent works of art, as well as a variety of temporary exhibitions that feature primarily illustrious residents from Morges. Concerts, lectures and theatrical performances also take place there. The “Boite à rèves” (“Dream Box”) exhibit and a display of Russian Icons can be viewed permanently.

For nature lovers, a trip to the Maison de la Rivière (River Museum) in nearby Tolochenaz is definitely worth a visit. There you can discover the ecosystem.
